Do you work on muscle cars?
Yes. We work on pre-1990 muscle cars for diagnostics, mechanical repairs, servicing, maintenance, performance support and fault-finding. If the car is not running properly or something does not feel right, we can help assess the issue.
Can diagnostics be done before other workshop work starts?
Yes. Diagnostics can be a useful first step before servicing, repairs, performance upgrades, restoration work or a larger build. It helps identify what needs attention first and can prevent money being spent in the wrong place.
Do you only work on major projects?
No. Viking Hotrods handles smaller diagnostic jobs as well as larger workshop projects. You do not need to be doing a full build to bring your car in for fault-finding or problem solving.
Can you help if another workshop has already looked at the car?
Yes. We can assess vehicles that have already had work done elsewhere, including unfinished projects, unresolved issues, previous repairs or cars that still are not running properly after earlier work.
Do you diagnose cooling or overheating issues?
Yes. Cooling and overheating problems are common in older vehicles and can be caused by several factors. We can check the cooling system, airflow, engine setup and related components to help identify what is really going on.
Do you diagnose issues with modified vehicles?
Yes. Many pre-1990 classics, muscle cars and hot rods have been modified over time. We can assess the current setup, look at previous work and help identify whether the issue is mechanical, electrical, fuel-related, ignition-related or connected to earlier modifications.
Do you service clients outside Bomaderry?
Yes. Viking Hotrods is based in Bomaderry on the South Coast of NSW and works with owners from across NSW and Australia who need experienced support for pre-1990 classics, hot rods and muscle cars.

Where is Viking Hotrods based?
Viking Hotrods is based in Bomaderry on the South Coast of NSW. We work with local car owners as well as clients from across NSW and Australia who are looking for a workshop that understands pre-1990 classics, muscle cars and hot rods.
Do you only work with local clients?
No. While our workshop is based in Bomaderry, we work with vehicle owners from the South Coast, greater NSW and other parts of Australia. Many owners are willing to travel for the right hot rod, classic car or muscle car workshop.
Can you assess my vehicle remotely?
Yes. Remote assessments can be arranged for suitable enquiries, especially for owners outside the local area who want initial guidance before bringing the vehicle to the workshop. Transport can also be arranged through preferred tow partners where needed.
What if my car is not running or registered?
Non-running and unregistered project vehicles are welcome. Viking Hotrods works with many cars at different stages of restoration, repair and rebuild. If the vehicle needs transport to the workshop, we can help discuss the best way to get it here safely.
Do you do small jobs, or only full builds?
Viking Hotrods handles both smaller workshop jobs and larger builds. That includes servicing, diagnostics, mechanical repairs, body and panel work, upgrades, restoration support, restomods and custom projects.
Do you offer body, paint and panel work?
Yes. Viking Hotrods offers body, paint and panel work for pre-1990 vehicles, including rust repairs, panel repairs, fabrication, paint support and bodywork for hot rods, classic cars and muscle cars.
